In JSU's History
Since 1877, Jackson State University® has prepared generations of leaders, scholars, and champions of THEE I Love. The installation of Dr. Denise Jones Gregory as the university’s 14th president, and the first female alumna to hold the position, is a continuation of that legacy: a formal entrustment of the mace, the charter, and the responsibility of carrying JSU® forward.

Across three days of worship, fellowship, and ceremony, the JSU® family, including students, alumni, faculty, trustees, and friends of the university, will gather to install President Denise Jones Gregory and recommit to the excellence she has been entrusted to lead.
